Prior to starting Harbourstone, I had the pleasure of working for a consultant in West Sussex for almost 10 years, leading technical design and delivery for sites ranging from culverts and conversions, to residential developments of 100s of houses. 

Before that I worked for a multinational engineering corporation providing design services on major Environment Agency projects, drainage design for HS2, and offshore feasibility for piers, oil rigs and major infrastructure coastal defences.

I also worked for major contractors, water companies, and in a pioneering research institute in northern Spain following my Civil Engineering Masters Degree, focused on the combating the impacts of climate change on coastal development.

All of this has provided me a comprehensive view of the construction industry & how innovative design and responsible development can be a force for good.

Ultimately, I started Harbourstone Design Limited because I wanted to build upon the positive, productive relationships I have developed over the last decade or so, and continue to provide a comprehensive service that best supports clients and design teams to successful delivery.
